Fun time at the zoo

We went to the zoo last Friday with Melanie, Bryant, and Ellia. Cole had a lot to drink Friday morning and wet through everything on the way to the zoo, even though I had changed his diaper right before we left the house and it only takes us 10 minutes to get to the zoo! Anyway, Cole spent a big portion of his 2nd birthday in nothing but a white onsie. It was quite amusing to see him walking around in a white onsie at the zoo. I hope you laugh too! Savannah just sat back and took it easy as usual. What a joy God has given Matt & me with these two!!!

We had Cole's birthday party at our church's playground this past Saturday. It was so much fun. The kids seemed to have a great time playing together. Thanks to all of you who celebrated with us!

Favorite Flower

I couldn't pick between two types of daisies, so my favorite flower is the daisy. Of the daisy family my two favorites are gerber daisy and shasta daisy. When Matt and I were dating I came home one day and found potted gerber daisies on my front porch. I wish I could say that the flowers lasted a long time, but my green thumb is injured. The memory of him doing something for me that he knew I would love, will always last.





I have always wanted to have a whole field of shasta daisies to run and play in. I just think it would be fun. They look like little balls of sunshine!

7 months for Savannah

Savannah was seven months old last Friday! The time has flown so quickly! It took me a few days to get the seven month pics taken. Savannah is wearing an outfit that was mine in these pictures. I am including a picture of me that was taken about a week before I turned 4 months old wearing the same outfit. Can you guess which one is me??? (hahahahaha!)



It is so much fun to watch Cole & Savannah together. They make each other laugh all the time. I know personally how wonderful it is to have brothers that are also my friends. I hope & pray that Cole & Savannah will be best friends all of their lives.

Cole's 2nd Birthday "Take 1"

We had an early birthday celebration with Gram-Gram and Papa over Memorial Day weekend. It was a lot of fun to have them here with us. I was able to practice making Cole's cake for his party this weekend with my mom here to give me cake decorating tips. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Favorite Disney Movie

I LOVE Disney movies! In fact, I have changed my mind three times since I started typing about which one is my favorite. I think I will have to go with The Little Mermaid. I am not going to go into detail about why because if I don't hit the "Publish Post" button quick I will change my mind again!

New foods...

I am still introducing new foods to Savannah at a pace of one new food every three days. This way if she has a reaction to the new food, I will know what caused it. Well today was day one of bananas. Unfortunately Cole and I did not communicate this very well. He thought it was day one of Animal Crackers and decided to share his snack with Savannah. Wasn't it nice of him to share?????

My favorite animal to see at the zoo is the clouded leopard. They are such beautiful and powerful looking animals, and I have always loved cats. They are usually pretty active when we go to visit them, and Cole really likes them because he can see them close up.
