7 months for Savannah

Savannah was seven months old last Friday! The time has flown so quickly! It took me a few days to get the seven month pics taken. Savannah is wearing an outfit that was mine in these pictures. I am including a picture of me that was taken about a week before I turned 4 months old wearing the same outfit. Can you guess which one is me??? (hahahahaha!)

It is so much fun to watch Cole & Savannah together. They make each other laugh all the time. I know personally how wonderful it is to have brothers that are also my friends. I hope & pray that Cole & Savannah will be best friends all of their lives.

New naptime...

Savannah has started falling asleep during breakfast. Here are the past two mornings' naptime pictures.

Funny Pics

Making "sista" laugh
Wearing his "gasses" like mommy.
"Mmmmm, good"
"Look Mama, I can fly!"
"I wish these bottom teeth would come in!"

Cole's 2nd Birthday "Take 1"

We had an early birthday celebration with Gram-Gram and Papa over Memorial Day weekend. It was a lot of fun to have them here with us. I was able to practice making Cole's cake for his party this weekend with my mom here to give me cake decorating tips. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Cole & Gram Gram blowing bubbles!

When Gram-Gram wrapped the present she put a Cars fork & spoon on either side of the bow. Cole did not let go of his new utensils throughout the entire unwrapping process!

Mowing the sidewalk with fork & spoon in hand!

Peddling away! (Fork & Spoon are in yellow basket on tricycle)

Savannah's silly sleepy face!

Savannah's sweet sleepy face!

A smile that makes the hours of cake decorating seem like just a few moments!

He blew them out on the first try! Blowing bubbles is a useful skill!!!

Favorite Disney Movie

I LOVE Disney movies! In fact, I have changed my mind three times since I started typing about which one is my favorite. I think I will have to go with The Little Mermaid. I am not going to go into detail about why because if I don't hit the "Publish Post" button quick I will change my mind again!

New foods...

I am still introducing new foods to Savannah at a pace of one new food every three days. This way if she has a reaction to the new food, I will know what caused it. Well today was day one of bananas. Unfortunately Cole and I did not communicate this very well. He thought it was day one of Animal Crackers and decided to share his snack with Savannah. Wasn't it nice of him to share?????

favorite animal to see at the zoo

My favorite animal to see at the zoo is the clouded leopard. They are such beautiful and powerful looking animals, and I have always loved cats. They are usually pretty active when we go to visit them, and Cole really likes them because he can see them close up.

trip to Colorado

We had such a good trip to Colorado this past week. We got to visit some of Matt's family & Nana and Pawpaw went with us. Thanks to Tommy & Mariam for sharing their beautiful house with us!!! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Savannah asleep at the park.

Cole "climbing" the wall at the park.

Great Pawpaw with his "great" great-grandaughter.

Nana with her grandkids on Mother's Day.

Cole FINALLY pets Lucky!

Sunglasses & Hairbows

I used to say that if I ever had a little girl she would never wear pink, ruffles, etc. etc. Those words sure do taste good because my little girl is sooo cute in pink and frilly clothes. Here are some pictures of her with her new accessories. She finally has enough hair for a bow! I love it!!!

Favorite thing about my mom...

So it is currently Thursday, 5/17/07, and I am finally doing last week's Favorite Friday topic. I was traveling halfway across the country and back with a toddler and infant, that is my excuse for being late....

In honor of Mother's Day, my favorite thing about my mother is that she is MY MOMMY! She knows me, she listens to me, she is exhaustingly honest, she is dependable, she is optimistic, she loves my daddy, she loves my husband & our children, she is "Gram-gram", she is silly, she smiles when she is half-asleep, she puts up with being teased, she is a caregiver, she is a great cook and helps me with recipes all the time, she made ALL of my birthday cakes and decorated them herself, she is teaching me how to be a mommy, she still lets me cry on her shoulder, she crinkles her nose up when she laughs (just like me!), she gets rectangle mouth when she cries (just like me!), she beams a Christ like spirit, she is my mommy.....I could go on and on about all the things I love about her, but I love her most for her just being her! There is no one else like her!

Favorite Friday - Favorite Professional Sports Team

To be completely honest, professional sports is not my favorite thing. I much prefer college sports. But when it comes to professional sports, I really only pay attention to the NFL. This is mainly because I play in a fantasy football league and Matt LOVES pro football. So I will have to go with the TN Titans. I guess I started following them because of them being the local team and my high school mascot was the Titans so it felt natural to cheer for the Titans. Hopefully this season will be a good one, and there won't be any problems on or off the field!!

Because the server is down...

Attention grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins of our children. Matt is working on the server, but until it is up and running again, here is a picture fix for you!
My own little Donald Duck!

A day at the zoo

Saturday before last we went to the zoo. This is something we do pretty often. Cole loves to see all the animals. This time we let Cole take his first ride on the carousel. He was a little unsure at first, but after a few ups and downs of his hippo he loved it! He also was so excited that "Aunt" Alaina & "Uncle" Phillip came to the zoo with us. He didn't want Alaina to put him down!
