Cole's Prayer - Morning of April 27, 2009

"Dear God, thank you for Mommy, Daddy, and Savannah. Thank you for my cousins. Thank you for all the trees that God made for us. Thank you for the horsies and the fences, and the cars. Thank you our houses. Thank you for our bodies. Thank you for Jesus' blood and Jesus' body. Thank you for Jesus rose from the grave and the disciples. Thank you for all of my friends at school today. Thank you for when we get home tonight that I can get some gum. Thank you for all the people that we love. Thank you for all of the animals at our zoo. In Jesus Name, AMEN. Mommy I said a long prayer!" (I am sure I did not document every "thank you" from the prayer. It was much longer than this and oh so much sweeter to hear it said by my sweet 3 year old boy!)

Matthew 18:3 NIV
And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Sare Jo, this is your Aunt Joyce. Such a precious child's prayer and you should be very proud of your children and the wonderful job you and Matt are doing with them. Hey, I have started (just barely) my own blog called "Mimmy's Maniacal Moments" which I hope to dedicate to poetry. I blogged myself to get things started and I'll have to learn a lot more before I know where to go from here. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure it out. At least we can blog each other from time to time.

God bless and love you all,
Aunt Joyce
